Position
To excel in this role, you should be an excellent communicator and have strong customer service
skills. You should be a cautious, yet confident driver who is willing to go the distance! Strong
attention to detail, to make sure all the products and paperwork are handled correctly during order
building and deliveries is also a must.
Lastly, it goes without saying that you should also be passionate about the cannabis industry! We
are looking for energetic individuals to proudly represent our brand and be a positive force in the
cannabis community at large.
Role & Responsibilities
As a driver, you will be delivering orders all over Northern and Central California based out of our
Santa Rosa warehouse. You will use Google Maps and other tools at your disposal to map efficient
routes to deliver up to 9 orders per day. Your supervisor will help advise on the best routes and keep
you aware of any store-specific requests or concerns that arise. A work phone will be provided to you
so that you can communicate with your supervisor or the sales team at times regarding any issues
that come up with the orders or with payment collection.
Scheduling for this role will fluctuate. On slow days, you may be asked to build orders, assist in
production. On other days, overtime may be required to complete the scheduled deliveries. At its
core, the objective is simple: Get the products to your customers in a safe and timely manner.
Responsibilities
Familiarize yourself with the Halara brand, mission, goals, and products
Check for all materials prior to delivery
Ensure Metrc manifests are completed and signed in entirety
Turn in receipts for all expenses
Follow designated route and make product drops at the stores laid out in the route
Help customer unpack and review order and paperwork upon delivery
Communicate any issues while out on the road, or while trying to make deliveries using company phone
Collect and transport payments (may occasionally be asked to count or verify cash payments)
At all times, you will drive safely and follow all laws of the road
Punctuality and good attendance are a must
Be aware of security and safety at all times
Qualifications
Position
Cannabis industry experience is strongly preferred
Prior experience working in a delivery / customer service environment
Friendly, approachable, and outgoing personality
Personal transportation – though you will use a company car during your shift, you will be required to arrive to work on your own power. You need reliable transportation to get to Halara HQ on time each morning.
